Go With The Glow- Ayurvedic Face Mask
Hi, Lovelies! I live in Colorado and let me tell you, it’s such a dream in so many ways. There are nearly 300 days of sunshine, beautiful landscapes, kind individuals. But when it comes to my skin it’s anything but ideal. The UV rays at high altitudes can mess with your skin. This gets even more pronounced as summer rolls and becomes hotter and drier causing even more skin dullness and dehydration.
To combat this, I put on my esthetician's hat and got to work. Today, I whipped up an easy 3 ingredient face mask and boy was my skin a fan. This mask has Aloe Vera, Turmeric, and Jojoba Oil and will leave your skin hydrated, soft, and glowing!

Benefits of Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera gel is packed with vitamins A and B, folic acid, enzymes, and proteins. It is used as a replacement for water in skincare products, and it is amazing for hydrating skin. Hydration is key in healthy glowing skin.
Benefits of Turmeric
Do you use Turmeric? If not you should. Turmeric is a yellow spice that has been utilized in India for thousands of years, serving as a medicinal herb. This powerhouse spice has been benefiting humans for over 4,000 years, reducing arthritis, fighting off stomach issues, and helping to disinfect cuts. It has also radically affected skincare offering a solution to acne scars, dull skin, and sun damage and we are forever singing its praises.
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is a must-have for all skin types. It has a variety of healing properties including acne scars, eczema, dehydration, and psoriasis. What I especially adore about this oil is that it is lighter than most and will leave your skin feeling soft and glowy.

You Will Need
A bowl
A facial brush (optional)
Aloe Vera Gel
Turmeric Powder
Jojoba oil
How To
In your mixing bowl add 1/4 cup aloe vera gel
Add in 1 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder
Add in 2 tbsp jojoba oil
Mix together creating a liquidy paste
Pre-cleanse your face, so the mask can do it magic, then pat dry6)Use a brush (this will keep your hands clean from the turmeric) to spread the mask on your face. Let sit for 10-15 minutes, then wash off.
Finish with moisturizer. I recommend not wearing white, because the turmeric can stain, but if it does spill don’t fret, life GLOWS on….
